Dr. Alden Gannett started the Words of Grace Bible Teaching minisry back in the 1960;s when he left his position as a professor at Dallas Theological Seminary to become President of Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama.  A more complete account can be found in the next article, "History of Words of Grace."

Dr. Ron Gannett, Alden's son, is now the speaker for Words of Grace.  As a graduate of Southeastern Bible College, Ron received his Masters of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary where his father was once a professor.  In 1992 he received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and was awared a nonorary Doctor of Divinity by the Briercrest Biblical Seminiary in 1995.
